World Car Free Day, Wednesday, 22 September
Leave your car at home and walk to school along with people from all over the world! Even if you have to travel a way to get to school, you could leave your car a short distance from school and join the walkers! Once you arrive at school, there will be a welcome at the gates! Parents, you can have a coffee with other parents once you arrive.
It was a great day with perfect weather for cross country. The children and parents were wonderful supporters of all those who participated and we had some very close sprints to the finish line.
Congratulations to all of those who participated and the very best of luck to the students who will represent the school at the upcoming Zone Interschool Finals.

In Term 4, 2009, there was a competition to design a type of Koru to represent our school in some way. The winning design would be printed on signs all around the school. I was only allowed to use the colours red, black and white. I came up with a Koru design.
How did I get the idea? Well, I’m not entirely sure. It just came to me and I decided that I would use it.
I do remember drawing patterns inside the patterns. They represented water, plants, teachers, children and the Principal.
