Kia Ora Tatou, Greetings to all
Dear Parents
It was wonderful to see so many of you and your children at the school picnic. I hope that you enjoyed spending a relaxing time in the evening sun with your children and you had an opportunity to meet teachers and parents of the school community. Thank you to the members of the PTA for providing food stalls.
On Tuesday 2 March at 7pm, we are holding in the school our Connecting with the Community Night. This is an evening where Michael Worth our Board Chair and school staff will present our school vision, values, learning philosophies and strategic learning areas. This will take place in the school hall. You will then have an opportunity to move to the different year levels of the school where team leaders and teachers will discuss in more depth classroom programmes, followed by an opportunity to go to your teacher’s classroom to meet informally with the teacher.
Just a reminder that our overall learning theme is… Am I making positive connections in the world? You might like to discuss with your children what this means in everyday life and for the global world. Any resources you have about the school-wide artist Picasso and any CD’s of Ravel, our school-wide musician would be very much appreciated.
At the February BOT meeting the Homework policy was approved (see link below).

Hope to see you on Tuesday night.
Warmest regards
