Welcome back to ENPS for Term One of 2009. This term is full of events and activities as well as the beginning of our School Wide focus on Sustainability.
Swimming
We will be swimming on Monday and Wednesday with two classes going down at a time. Assistance is required to help supervise children while waiting under our new shade sail and also in the water. If you are able to help. please let your classroom teacher know.

Beach Education
As part of our Health and PE programme we will be looking at water safety alongside swimming. We will be traveling to Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club where Lifeguards will provide training on keeping safe at the beach and in the sun.
Classroom Culture
We will start the year looking at relationships within the classroom, learning environment and how we interact with others.
Sustainability
As part of a school wide focus we will be looking at sustainability in our learning community. This will begin after we return from camp. Stay posted for further information later in the term.
Year 6 Camp
This year we will be returning to MERC at Long Bay with all FOUR classes going from Tuesday 17th to Friday 20th of March. We will be staying onsite at MERC and at an adjacent camp called Vaughan Park. More details will follow next week.
