On 28th of May we organised a special fundraiser to help the people in China who lost their homes and family members in a terrible earthquake.
The whole school participated by dressing up in something red. Some children wore their national costumes or they just wore something red.
All the classes went outside and sat in their class groups outside the hall. In the middle of the big square Chinese mothers had made a heart shape with the little candles.
Each class paraded around the square and threw their donations in the heart while they marched around to the music. The mothers made delicious sushi and sold them all really quickly.
At the Senior assembly on Friday 13th of June we presented a cheque to the World Vision representative for $2,700.
