On Thursday 11 August, and Tuesday 16 August the Years 5 and 6 participated in the ENPS Cross Country Event. This competition was the basis for qualifying for the Zone Cross Country Competition.
Due to the weather forecast, the sports exchange today is cancelled!
The Year 5 Cross Country will still happen this morning!

Dear Parents and Caregivers
Welcome back to the Manuka team. We hope you all enjoyed two weeks of safe and happy family time. Term three is going to be an exciting ten weeks. We are welcoming the new children and their families into Room 21 along with their teacher, Miss Hedstrom. Our team now has six wonderful classes of energetic and enthusiastic children who are keen to be at school and are motivated to learn!

Semester Two 2011
Dear parents and caregivers,
Welcome to the second semester of the 2011 academic year.
We are always focussed on the core learning areas of reading, writing and maths.
In addition our topic focus for Term 3 is ‘I Am An Innovator’. The title for our topic studies is ‘Thirst To Be First’ and students will be studying within the Social Studies and Technology areas of the curriculum.

This term our theme is ‘I am an Innovator’ with our topic ‘Our School, Our Nation. The children will be learning about innovation around our school environment and then creating an innovative idea using the technological process and will be linked to the Rugby World Cup.
