It’s time to see what we actually have in our PE Sheds and so we know what we need to resource PE and Sport in our School. We need approximately 3 or 4 people next Wednesday afternoon to help stocktake our gear. If anyone is able to help, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call into Room 8.

The animals were waiting for the year 4 students of ENPS because we were going to the Auckland City Zoo to learn about endangered animals. The morning was mad. The teachers had butterflies in their tummies; I mean running around and packing and organizing everything. This was going to be a great trip for them and of course, us.
We cartwheeled to the bus. It was a bumpy ride. People were looking outside; cameras waving like the sea, click-click. A sign came up our way saying, “Zoo”, with an arrow pointing left and that was the next turn.
Finally we arrived. Some parent help came before us but that didn’t matter because now we were there. We saw a chicken clucking by “cluck coooo.” We all followed our parent and entered the zoo where we received a map that told us everything.
A notice to all parents.
A draft copy of the yearbook will be available for viewing at the school office as of Monday the 24th
November.
There are a limited number of yearbooks being published so you must order as soon as possible if you wish to get a copy.
Thank You

There were many entries this year for the 2008 Yearbook Cover Design Competition. The yearbook team and Miss Kylie had a tough time reducing the entries to 8 finalists, but we decided that the final 8 designs reflected aspects of Epsom Normal’s diverse and interesting school culture. These 8 designs were hung in the library for students to look at and vote on. There was a huge response and after a week of voting there was a clear winner.
Photo Life photos went home with your child this week. Individual photo
packs should have your childs’ classroom photo in them as an extra item. If
you did not receive a class photo in your pack please email
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) before Tuesday 18 November.
Please give your child’s name and room number.
Thank you,
Adrienne Dodge
It was a beautiful day and our athletics was a fantastic success. The students were able to enjoy the main athletic events along with fun stations spread across the field. We were all able to then watch the sprint finals, which were very exciting.
We would like to thank the parents who helped out and came to cheer on their children for the day. The Parent Helpers were especially fabulous with the way that they were able to help out in the main events and ha a very encouraging manner with all of the participants.
Once again we had 2 very enthusiastic teams and 2 good wins on Sunday. The Catfish won their game 6-3 against the Gladstone Hammerheads and the Dogfish won 9-3 against Kohia Terrace 3. We are doing really well and very thankful to Elliot who has been wonderful in giving up his time between studying for exams to come along on Tuesdays and coach the teams.
