The Year Three speech competition will take place in Week 2 of Term 4.
Next week the children will start writing their speeches in class during writing
time. Speeches need to be 2 minutes long and the focus is on persuasive writingwhere
the writer is arguing a case for or against a particular point of view.

ICAS 2011 - Please find attached the results for ICAS English and Writing taken this term by some of our students. Well done to all our students who took these tests.

Our senior school Topic Studies entitled ‘Our School, Our Nation’ this term has been very successful, with high levels of engagement and students being empowered to drive their own learning using learning centres, to focus their research. They are in the process of developing innovative ideas for redesigning learning spaces during this latter part of the term.
PTA Update – Term 3 2011
The next PTA meeting was held on Friday 30th September at 2pm in the staffroom. All are welcome to attend PTA meetings.
There will be a sausage sizzle next Thursday, 6th October. Also next Thursday and Friday (6th and 7th) will be mufti days. $2 for both days.
